Born and raised in Srinagar, Kashmir. A non-believer, good listener and a dog lover. Spicy curry and chai is what keeps the body going, music and books are what keeps the soul going. Taking photos has given me a chance to travel and meet people, see things that would never be visible to me. Smiles on the faces of the people I photograph is what gives me happiness, and the process is what sets me free.
